Nicola Marshall

Nicola leads the People function at Welcome Break, shaping the people strategy and employee experience for more than 6,000 team members across the UK. She is also a member of the Applegreen Senior Leadership Team. With an award-winning career spanning two decades in HR and People Development, Nicola brings practical experience of supporting a diverse, dispersed workforce and connecting people strategy with business results. As Chair of the Welcome Break Charitable Fund, she also helped raise over £1 million in 2025 for charity partners and local communities.
